The older I get, the more my hands look like my father’s, and now the sight of my own hands trigger vivid memories we shared together when I was a boy.
“The Father’s Hands Project” is a photographic series that delves into the intimate and often underrepresented narratives of Black fatherhood.
this project seeks to challenge prevailing stereotypes and provide a nuanced portrayal of the bonds between Black fathers and sons.
This is a multi-generational portrait series that began in 2018 in New York, the most recent session took place in Los Angeles. I look forward to continuitng the series across the United States
